Home Warranty

 

"Trimworkx + Painting" warranties all work completed by "Trimworkx + Painting" for either new-home construction and/or home improvement projects. These warranties are in addition to or in conjunction with possible other warranties the parties have agreed upon. If there are any other warranty agreements, all other warranty agreements must be in text form and signed by (Matthew T. Kandl, Account's Executive) an authorized person of "Trimworkx + Painting" and the home owner or contractor in which is acquiring this warranty. Unless the verbal warranty is in writing, just like this warranty, and signed by both parties, this warranty is the only valid warranty offered by "Trimworkx + Painting."

In every sale of a new home, in every contract for new-home construction, and in every home improvement contracts, a warranty is provided for the current home owner or contractor hiring "Trimworkx + Painting". For new homes, the warranty coverage begins when the buyer takes possession of the home. For a contractor the warranty begins once the contracted work agreed upon has been completed. For home improvements, the warranty begins when the project is completed or when the contract agreement between the home owner and "Trimworkx + Painting" has been completed.

 

Trimworkx + Painting Warranties provide that:

" Materials and Workmanship coverage:

For one year the home or business shall be free from defects caused by faulty workmanship. If there is a defect in the workmanship provided by "Trimworkx + Painting" during the one year warranty it is the responsibility of the customer to contact "Trimworkx + Painting" when the initial defect is noticed to ensure a prompt response and rectification of the workmanship.

" For remodeling projects:

• Work not specifically covered above is covered for a one-year period starting on the day of the signed completion of the warranted product and/or services rendered by Trimworkx + Painting. During the one year period Trimworkx + Painting warrants that all areas of the home directly in association/affected renovated areas shall be free from defects caused directly due to faulty workmanship provided by Trimworkx + Painting.
  
  
  
• In both new-home and home improvement construction, the contractor is not liable for problems caused by work they were not responsible for, or products they did not furnish; damage not reported by the homeowner within 30 days of discovering the problem; damage such as personal injury or loss of personal property; damage due to normal wear and tear; loss or damage due to negligence; and, in the case of home improvements, loss or damage due to defects in the existing structure not caused by the home improvement. There are additional exclusions spelled out in state law as well.
